I started paper crafting back in 2003 after watching a scrapbooking show on the DIY network. I quickly became obsessed with paper and all things glittery. Some women love to roam the racks for shoes, but for me, I'd rather be lost in a world of paper. Yes, I can admit it openly & honestly- I am a paper adict. I'm sure my husband wishes there was a 12 step recovery program.

A few years ago, I turned my hobby into a business - JC Kreative. I custome design greeting card, as well as invitations for weddings, birthdays or any special occasion you may be planning. JC-Kreative

Being an instructor at Scrapbook Queens will be my newest adventure andd a great way to start off the New Year.

Hi everyone,

The path that brought me to the wonderful world of card-making started fifteen years ago when I took up the art of working with stained glass. My experience and artistic growth in this field eventually gave rise to a personal interest in the field of scrapbooking and paper arts.

The skills and techniques I acquired in scrapbooking led to the development of a keen and especially passionate interest in card making.

I enjoy the creative challenge of transforming various colours, textures, designs, patterns and graphic materials into mementoes of a bygone age. I incorporate multiple styles and artistic techniques in my work: from embossing to paper piecing to stamp layering to stitching cards.

Much of my work is inspired by the spectacular beauty I find in nature and my garden. My work also includes the design and decoration of matchboxes, artists trading cards and seasonal graphic books. Please visit MyBlog for more samples of my work.

I look forward to sharing my own skills and knowledge with all card-making enthusiast as a hobby and an art form.

Scrapbook Queens reserves the right to cancel classes and workshops in the event that minimum participation is not met. Efforts will be made to reschedule within a reasonable time frame.

Please call ahead. Registration is on a first come first serve basis and payment in full is required at time of registration. Should you, for any reason, be unable to attend a class you have previously registered for, we ask that you provide us with a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice in order to receive a full store credit, otherwise no store credit will be issued. You must speak to one of our staff members for your cancellation to be valid. Messages left on our answering service will not be taken into consideration for security reasons.

All classes require a basic tool kit consisting of pencil, ruler, scissors, trimmer and adhesive. Advanced classes may require additional tools and supplies that will be advised at time of class booking.
