Since we have been working so hard on ordering all the goodies for the store it was only fair to let Joy out for some fresh air and show her where all the wonderful things we have ordered will be merchandised.

One of our future customers Lori, was on the Scrapbook Queens Facebook page, which can be found at www.facebook.com/scrapbookqueens, and said " More photo's of the store please !!!!"

So off we went to take some pictures because we aim to please our customers. The duct work and ceiling have been painted black for a modern loft feel and the walls were all painted in a calm colour called Falcon. The doors and trim have also been painted using a clean crisp white.

So here are today's pictures for your enjoyment.

It's amazing how things are moving along. Every time we walk in new things await us. The biggest project on the go at the moment is the HVAC system. We had to add an additional unit to the roof to keep us all cool in the summer and warm in the winter. And lets face it, we don't want our paper curling from the humidity, now do we?

I have a few pictures of the progress at the moment but there will be more next week. It seems that the company that is doing the interior changes for us is on track with their timeline. They are advising us that the painting will start next week, followed by flooring the week after. That would leave just the final touch ups and cleaning.

So here are today's photos. It's not much but every slight change gets us closer to getting the keys and opening our doors to all the wonderful scrappers patiently waiting.

Everything in the first photo was demolished and by the time we got to take the picture of the third photo the demising wall was up to the ceiling and the doors have been installed and it's a lot cleaner because most of the debris is gone. Next time there will be photo's of a different angle for you to enjoy.

As always please continue to

I'm making a list, I'm checking it twice, I gotta make sure everything's nice !

Yes ! The permits are in and work has started.

There is not much to tell or see at this time, but I thought I would toss in a few before pictures and keep adding as we go along. So far some of the electrical has been disconnected so that demolition can start and we have our colours chosen.

The overhead sign has been ordered, we don't have an actual picture of it but I did a super fast mock up in Photoshop for everyone to get a general idea of what it will look like.

It's been a very long road with many obstacles and a lot of stress, and there is so much more work ahead of us, but now that we see everything coming together we are absolutely sure that it was all worth it.

While we wait for the last stages of Scrapbook Queens to fall into place, please continue to
